On September 30, 2025, the Yurikamome was brought into the workshop

Every year, two boats are taken out of the water to perform tasks essential to the maintenance of Edo-style Japanese boats,
such as cleaning the bottoms,
replacing old copper fittings, and repairing or replacing damaged wood.
As a first step, the first boat, the Yurikamome, was brought into the workshop.
Through these tasks, participants not only learn to row the boat, but also gain an understanding of the structure of Japanese boats
and the workings of their oars and paddles.
